Quebec City

We hosted some friends from Houston at our new house in Toronto, and continued the visit together in Quebec City. David and Jonathan set themselves up in the Chateau Frontenac, and we did a bit more touring around with Karen.

Sep 15

After our early morning flight, we picked up a rental car and headed east to Mount St Anne to explore nature and have a bit of fun on adventure ride. After our nature tour, we made our way back to the city and met up with David and Jonathan briefly before dinner.

After breakfast, we went with Karen to the Quebec City Aquarium. It was a pretty impressive collection of creatures, with a combination of land and sea animals. After the aquarium, we reconnected with the full group in Old Quebec to check out the Chateau Frontenac interior, explore, and have some lunch. We were then treated to some lovely cocktails in the famous Bar 1608 in the Chateau Frontenac, before heading back to our hotel for a late dinner.

Sep 17

For our last day in Quebec, we headed to the Citadelle for a tour, and then reconnected with the whole group for lunch and drinks. Karen, Tom and I then headed to the airport for our late flight back to Toronto.

We arrived back in Toronto late on Sunday evening. We left Karen at an airport hotel for her early morning flight to Houston, and Tom and I headed home.
