With the borders open to vaccinated Americans, our friend Karen from Houston decided to escape the Houston heat and join us in Toronto. Although it was just good to catch-up we also did some local tourism.

Aug 28

As Karen is a big Schitt’s Creek fan, we planned a day trip touring a number of the filming locations.

On the way north we stopped at The Cheltenham Badlands outside Caledon

Having made our way through the main exterior filming locations we headed back to Toronto.

We started our day around Toronto before heading to Niagara Falls, where we stayed overnight to have plenty of time to explore.

Having taken in the light show, we headed back downtown to our hotel.

Aug 30

We got an early start to the day with the tour behind the falls and then dropped Karen at the border to make her way back to Houston. We then made our way to Toronto, ready to supervise the demolition of our house, in preparation for the construction of its replacement..
