We had planned a few times to visit Kelowna since COVID, but chose to cancel each times because of the dangers of nearby forest fires and the impacts of smoke. Although the fire situation hadn’t really improved, by going earlier in the year we were able to avoid any impacts.

After arriving on our morning flight to Kelowna, we started in vineyards across the lake in West Kelowna.

After completing our tour of the Kelowna shoreline trail, we found a nice restaurant downtown for dinner.

After breakfast, we decided to head a bit further afield trough wine country towards Osoyoos and of our favourite wineries.

After a full day of driving, we were back in Kelowna in time for dinner and to enjoy the wine we purchased at Burrowing Owl.
