As is always the case, new Cirque du Soleil shows make their debut performances in Montreal and make a progression from there to Quebec City to Toronto.  The nice thing about Montreal is the very long run means it is much easier to find great seats than in Toronto.  So I locked in a couple good seats for the new show (Amaluna) and found a nice sale fare on the Air Canada Express flights from Toronto Island airport to Montreal.  As the main purpose of the trip was to see the show, we stayed in old Montreal near the show and had just enough time to explore some of the city.
