We always enjoy a Broadway show and look out for new and interesting shows when we hear about them.  When I heard about the premise of an Act of God and the fact that Jim Parsons, who we had previously enjoyed acting on Broadway, it was time to book a trip.  For the first night we stayed close to LaGuardia and enjoyed the runway views from our room, heading into Manhattan on Saturday morning.  As we had some free hotel nights that were expiring, this time we stayed at the Hilton Midtown, a massive hotel where I had stayed on my first trip to NYC with my friend Lynn, 16 years earlier.  I’m able to place the exact timing because I remember the hotel as where I heard the breaking news of the JFK Jr.  plane crash from a CNN update we watched in the elevator (a unique hotel feature way back then).   We enjoyed the time in NYC and really enjoyed the one-man play.
