Without work commitments and some very aggressive Air Canada promotions to encourage a return to trave,l I planned a few days in Vancouver without Tom. To take advantage of the promotion, Tom did join for the weekend so we could both have a vacation from the new home construction.

After a morning flight to Vancouver and grabbing some lunch at the airport, I made my way downtown to check-in to the hotel and to enjoy the warm spring weather on foot.

After a long day of walking, I turned in for the evening.

Before Tom joined me in the evening, I continued covering the city on foot and connected with a former work colleague who’d recently immigrated to Canada and settled in Vancouver.

With cruises canceled for two years, it was great to see the first round of Alaskan Cruises

Reunited with Tom coming in from his evening flight, we turned in for the night.

Unfortunately with Tom’s arrival, we also lost the sunny blue skies; however, we didn’t let it stop us and captured only a few photos.

After our walk, we checked out of the hotel and headed to airport for the afternoon flight home and back to support the new home construction.
