Anyone paying attention to our previous travel patterns would likely notice that we spend a lot of time in Paris. Sadly, with the recent terrorist attacks impacting Paris, tourism is way down; however, we felt that it was safe enough to visit and wanted to show our continued support for Paris so made the trip. We had a free night to use at the Park Hyatt Vendome, which has incredible value. They treat us well there, and it makes a great base for walking the city. For our second night, we checked out a newer Hyatt hotel with great views of the Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately, our great view was just under a rather loud night club making it a little hard for us to get a lot of sleep, but it was nice to check out a new hotel in a different area of the city.

After checking into our hotel, we walk through our favorite streets of Paris, and also head to the Place de la République which has acted as a memorial to the November 2015 Paris attacks and is where crowds gathered shortly after the attacks to mourn and show the resolve of Paris.

After breakfast, we move from Vendome to our hotel in the Palais des congres, further up the Champs-Elysees.
Unfortunately our wonderful hotel view came with a close proximity to the hotel nightclub that didn't shut down until 2:00am, so we didn't exactly end with the most restful night.

After breakfast and some complaints about the hotel noise problems, we head to the airport and back to Toronto and Houston.
