It had been a few years since we had Christmas in New Brunswick and my parents’ house is a very nice holiday setting.  The weather cooperated for most of our travel, but the drive was a little tricky at the end, and we made it after a few snowy kilometres at the end.  After we arrived, the weather turned bitterly cold, so we stayed inside for most of the trip and enjoyed the views of the beautiful winter scenery from inside.  We skipped the Christmas presents this year in favour of charity, but enjoyed great family time together and also decided to celebrate my parents’ birthdays while we were together.  After Christmas, we made our way back home to Toronto before starting our trip to Portugal to end the year.
