Continuing our trend of California travel at the beginning of the year, and kicking off a series of trip to Southern California, we were back in the LA area.  The warm weather was a nice break from Toronto for Tom, and we always enjoy extra sunshine in the winter.  We started out by hiking on Mulholland Drive, driving through the Hollywood Hills, and ending it back in Long Beach.  Although we didn’t seek it out, we saw some of the considerable damage from the earlier wild fire.

After staying by the airport, we picked up the rental car, and went for a drive and hike in the nearby hills.

After staying in Long Beach and enjoying the time near the beach, we had a lazy morning before heading to the airport and our flights home.
