We had the usual family gathering in Iowa for Thanksgiving, and although a few family members didn’t make it, we had a great time. This time we flew directly to Des Moines to spend time with Tom’s parents before the entire family met in Iowa City, and I took advantage of some amazing business class sales to Europe. After I completed my Black Friday shopping, I hopped on a plane for a quick getaway to Rome. I didn’t cover much new ground, but thoroughly enjoyed walking the city from top to bottom and the beautiful warm sunny weather. Tom finished the weekend with some time with his parents, and I made my way back to Houston from Rome.

Black Friday shopping and then off to Rome for a short visit and some miles
