Bali has been on our list of places to visit for some time. However, we are generally pretty cautious travelers and were a little freaked by earlier terrorist attacks in the area. Fortunately, more rational heads prevailed and we made our way to the beautiful island. Between our frequent flyer miles and our free hotel nights, we got to enjoy some great flights and amazing resorts. As it is a long journey to Bali, we had a long layover in Singapore on the journey there and a spent a few days in Tokyo on the way home. Tokyo Haneda airport to Toronto was also the first route that Air Canada had planned for their first 787 Dreamliner flights, which we got to experience on the way home.
