My quest to complete my 50 states brought me to Oklahoma and number 49.  When deciding to go to Oklahoma we had to choose between Tulsa and Oklahoma City.  In the end we chose the best flight options and decided that Oklahoma City was the most convenient and economical option and were pleasantly surprised.  The city itself seemed quite livable, and Bricktown was a cool collection of restaurants, shops and walkways along a manmade river.  The name Oklahoma City is also synonymous with the Timothy McVeigh bombing, and the bombing site and museum were both very powerful and were an important part of the trip.
