I had a management training session at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill starting on Sunday afternoon. Not one to overlook additional benefit from a business trip, I noticed that I could drive to South Carolina pretty easily with an extra day. On Saturday, Tom headed to Iowa for his parents’ 50th anniversary party, also on Sunday, and I flew to Raleigh. From Raleigh I headed to Charlotte which was a very picturesque town with lots of wooded mansions. The next morning I stuck my head into South Carolina and crossed two more states off my list of 50. Finished up my trip by continuing my quest for the perfect towels and bathroom accessories for selling the old house and spent the rest of the week trapped in a classroom with intense management training. As I spent the majority of the trip shopping, there is no photo evidence.
