Although I see my parents regularly, it had been a little while since I had made it to their home in New Brunswick.  My sister and her partner were also able to join us, so we had a small family reunion over the August long weekend.  The weather was beautiful, and we had a great couple of days together enjoying my parents’ new patio and the view of the river.  I also managed to get out on the bike with my dad and confirmed that my spin class skills are transferable to climbing some real hills.  We had a nice visit which was cut a little short by the need to start a business trip in Malaysia.   I left Tom in Toronto and traveled onto Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.
