Chesapeake Bay

We've been to the Washington area a number of times, but had not made it over the bridge to Chesapeake Bay. We flew into Baltimore and made the drive over the bridge. The area is very touristy and weekend traffic was a bit crazy, but the resort was a nice respite along the Choptank River off the main bay near Cambridge, MD. Although the views of the water were nice, the conditions in the area were very attractive to jellyfish. The jellyfish were everywhere and very dense; there was definitely no one swimming! The area was near a Blackwater Wildlife Refuge where we saw a number of birds. I flew directly to Houston on Sunday to start my work week before heading home.
