San Diego is still one of my favourite parts of California, and for some reason it’s also one of the more economical places to fly from Toronto.  As Tom was still in search of more travel to reach his Elite status with Air Canada, we headed there for the weekend. This time we stayed in Del Mar north of the city and found ourselves surrounded by the San Diego county fair.  Although we didn’t partake in the fair, it did create some crazy traffic to navigate our way through, on our way to find some nice beach and scenery to explore.  As we often do, we took the long way home via Vancouver to earn some extra miles and get the most out of our upgrades to business class.
