The fares between Toronto and Honolulu have been an incredibly good deal for some time.  In fact it is often actually cheaper to fly from Toronto to Honolulu to Houston to Toronto than it is to fly round trip from Toronto to Houston.  Not wanting to pass up a good deal, we had a very quick weekend break in Hawaii and also spent a good portion of the weekend flying.  Luckily I had upgrades, so we were able to have a cheap flight and fly in relative comfort.

May 16

After landing, we headed along to Oahu's south coast and up the western coast towards Kaena Point for a hike to stretch out our legs after a day of flying.

After a relaxing night in the hotel, we head to the north shore to check out the waves and found a few surfers out enjoying the waves.  After enjoying the day on the island, we headed to the airport for our overnight flights home.
