These were our first flights on our Air Canada Sun Pass, and were an opportunity to take advantage of a free hotel stay at the Victor Hotel in South Beach. Although we’ve been to Florida numerous times, this was the first time that we spent any time in Miami. We spent the first night in Coral Gables, a quaint area of Miami with interesting shops and restaurants. We spent the second day shopping and walking around South Beach. The Victor was a beautiful and funky art deco boutique hotel -- definitely a good place to enjoy a free hotel stay. The hotel is actually part of the Hyatt chain, but they do everything they can to hide the Hyatt branding, wanting to appear smaller and independent -- however, we will take a free Hyatt night anywhere we can get it. We enjoyed the beach and had a nice al fresco dinner on Saturday. On Sunday, we relaxed before heading home.
