This trip was mostly about the opportunity to get to Japan in relative comfort, get a break from the winter, and exploit some strange Air Canada pricing policies. To confirm an upgrade for my Japan trip later in April at a reasonable price, I actually purchased a return ticket from Dallas to Tokyo with a stopover in Toronto. As Tom was busy with work travel and already on a reward ticket to Japan and already confirmed in the front, he stayed home. Not much sightseeing, other than a quick look at my company’s corporate headquarters, which, given the security, I wouldn’t dare take a picture of. A little bit of shopping and on to Tokyo via a two week stopover in Toronto.
