I like what the city of Chicago has to offer and never tire of the city.  As I had reason to be in Houston for two weeks in a row, I found a cheap side trip to Chicago.  Tom met me there and we took advantage of a free hotel night at the Park Hyatt just off Michigan Avenue for an early birthday celebration.  I had been wanting to stay at the Park Hyatt for a number of years and really enjoyed the location.  Being further north, we explored some of the beaches of Lake Michigan that I had never seen and really explored Navy Pier for the first time.  On Sunday afternoon I made my way back to Houston and Tom went home to Toronto.
