Iowa City

This was our normal July 4th trip to Iowa. I flew directly from Houston to Chicago and Tom flew in from Buffalo. We stayed overnight in Chicago before driving on to Iowa. This year we stayed downtown at the Sheraton in Iowa City. It was a nice location and being in the city center was convenient. We played a number of card games and spent time around the pool. Although Mike and Mel and a few of Tom's nieces and nephews were not able to make it, we had a good visit and we went back to Des Moines before heading back to Chicago and our flight to Buffalo.
