This year, the Canadian July 1st holiday lined up with the July 4th weekend, allowing us to have a good visit, back in Des Moines with all the siblings present again.  Continuing a fine tradition, the family celebrated the legacy of Jim McCall with the McCall Memorial croquet tournament.  We had a good time visiting, playing games and of course July 4th barbecue.

After a few days with Tom's parents, the official 4th of July gathering happens on Sunday with the bulk of the family in attendance.

With the festivities over, we have a bit of quiet time with Tom's parents before heading back home.
