For our second Iowa wedding celebration, we didn’t actually make it to the wedding in Mexico, but the family threw a wonderful party in Iowa City that we couldn’t miss.  Although seeing the wedding would have been great, we really enjoyed the party and getting the chance to celebrate the newlyweds in style.

June 9

After staying overnight in Chicago, we made the relatively short drive to Iowa City for the celebration. There were still some last minute preparations taking place that we pitched in on before the official party started.

We were well fed with Burrito Food Truck and trucked in Pizza Oven.

After getting some rest from a great celebration, we had a quick visit with the family, and made our way back to Chicago for our flights home.
