When you buy Broadway tickets, you are often added to distribution lists for new plays, creating the temptation to head back to NYC. On this trip, on Saturday we saw the matinee of Of Mice and Men with James Franco and Chris O’Dowd which we quite enjoyed. The highlight of the trip was the evening performance of All the Way with Bryan Cranston playing LBJ through the early years of his presidency through to the passing of the Civil Rights Act. It was very well acted and gave me new insight into that period of time at the fiftieth anniversary of its passage.
Back home on Sunday after a quick trip
