For my birthday, we decided to have a weekend in NYC.  We stayed at our favorite Andaz 5th Avenue and walked our feet off, including the long trek to the World Trade Center Memorial.  This was our first opportunity to visit the now-completed memorial gardens.  The museum was not yet finished, but it was a powerful experience and great to see the final stages of transformation.  We capped off the trip by seeing Big Fish on Broadway, a very good adaption of the Tim Burton film.

Evening flight to NYC; stay near the airport and head into the city in the morning

Play in the afternoon, dinner in the city and relax on Sunday before heading home
