For our annual 4th of July celebration we had our normal family gathering in Iowa, but this year centered on Tom’s parents new retirement apartment.  They have a lovely large unit so we had no trouble accommodating everyone and even hosted a croquet tournament for the family and others in the building.  The match was inspired by Jim McCall who unfortunately was too sick to travel, but everyone had a good time and a very competitive tournament in his honour.

The main family celebration on the 4th with the croquet tournament and a family barbecue.  Although not everyone made the trip, we had a great visit.
