With the family reunion in Edmonton this was an excellent opportunity to get a little further afield and advance the province and territory count.  This was our first trip to any of the territories and was an interesting experience.  For a very small Northern capital there was a surprising amount of infrastructure.  With only a few days we didn’t stray far from the city, but did get out for a day trip and a hike and found where all the mosquitos live.  We also ate at a couple of interesting restaurants including Bullocks with what has been voted the best fish and chips in Canada.  It also had some pretty interesting service standards with shared tables, a lot of self service and passing dishes for other people.  I’m not sure if the fish and chips are the best in Canada, but certainly very fresh and some of the best I’ve had; at $36, the fish and chips is probably the most expensive in Canada.
