Jim Parsons had a somewhat quirky appearance on the Daily Show where he tried to explain the premise of the play Harvey that he was starring in on Broadway this summer.  He’s a great actor and although I had never seen the play or the movie, I decided it was worth a trip to New York to check it out.  Since West Jet started flying to New York from Toronto they created a bit of a temporary fare war and luckily the flight to New York was the cheapest that it had been in years.  Combined with a free hotel night at The Andaz 5th Avenue, our favourite NYC hotel, and a great play it was a great weekend getaway.  We also used the opportunity to tour the Intrepid Museum for the first time.
