For our second weekend in LA, we had originally planned to head up to Santa Barbara, but had been concerned with all of the rains that the route could be impacted. Instead, we decided to stay in Long Beach, which kept us a little closer to LAX and is still a nice area along the beach. The weather was still a little grey, but a nice break for Tom from Toronto's winter. To get a few extra miles, I took the scenic route home through Chicago and checked out the newly renovated United Club lounge.

After staying near LAX airport, we headed out for Long Beach. After we settled in, we took a long walk along the beach.
